Anglo-Saxon settlement, Cherry Orton Road, Orton Waterville

History of Anglo-Saxon settlement at Orton Waterville

In 2006 CAS  Vol XCV reported on excavation near the parish church of Orton Waterville. Anglo-Saxon settlement remains dating from the 7th/8th century to the 11th/12th century were revealed.
