A very fine example of an early C18 town house with two early C19 ‘bays’ added to west, the second ‘bay’ with false windows. The extension incorporates the original side entry. Local brown brick; slate roof, hipped to left hand with three stacks.  …  Early C19 rooms with good interior detail. House once owned by the Peckover family. Print, c.1785 in Peckover House. Painting, c.1820 in Peckover House.
